Dr. Charles Woolfork Sr. is a preacher, Gospel music artist, writer, producer, teacher, pastor, and community-focused leader with more than 30 years of experience in music and preaching ministry.

He founded Ascension Life Church and Ascension Ministries and envisioned The Ascension Life Podcast as a ministry vehicle for purposeful, vibrant, and insightful conversations. His desire is to help people return to a living love for God and encounter practical lessons that can be faithfully lived—not merely heard.

Lady Tamara Woolfork was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, in a family and church environment grounded in the Word and rich in faith. From an early age, she developed a heart for prayer, worship, and ministry.

Her service has included praise and worship leadership, praise dance, ministry to young women, preaching, theater, and dance. Throughout the years, she has made a profound impact on youth and young women inside and outside the church. Her heart beats for the souls, healing, and spiritual well-being of God’s people, and she remains committed to encouraging, empowering, and uplifting those she is called to serve.
